Giving

As members of New Hope Lutheran Church (NHLC), our mission is to grow in faith and discipleship so that we might be a caring community engaged within our world locally, nationally, and globally. In response to our faith through the Holy Spirit, as a community of believers in Christ and in commitment to our mission, we come together to worship and participate in the day-to-day activities and operations of NHLC through the volunteering of our time and talents, as well as offering our financial resources in the form of regular monetary pledges, donations, and designated giving for special events or projects.

At this time, NHLC is pleased to announce that it is expanding the availability of technology-based methods to provide members and visitors the ability to make recurring and periodic donations/contributions. These include the following:

Simply Giving: a web based software program;
Give+: a free app available to iPhone, Android phone, and tablets; and
Give by text: Simply text 844-287-7109

These electronic methods are similar to how many individuals currently pay their personal bills, review their personal banking records, and establish direct transfer of funds for recurring bills, and have comparable benefits including the following:

Convenience – one can donate without having to carry a checkbook or cash;

Control – the software is available 24/7, recurring contributions may be managed anytime, and history of donations and contributions may be viewed online when convenient;
Timing – recurring contributions may be scheduled for any date including coinciding with a person’s payday schedule;
Consistency – Using automated contributions assures that your donation happens even when you are not able to attend church; and
Speed – assures that your donation happens when you want it to happen for special events such as disaster relief initiatives.
