About Us
New Hope Lutheran Church was founded in 1984. We are a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), the largest Lutheran denomination in the United States. We are also part of the local Delaware - Maryland Synod, a group of ELCA congregations that work together to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with their communities and the world.
Our Staff
Pastor: Ginny PricePastor Ginny Price began her ministry at New Hope on Dec. 1, 2013. A graduate of Gettysburg Lutheran Seminary and ordained in 1989 Pastor Ginny has served in a variety of settings, including both rural and small town, as well as serving as Assistant to the Bishop for the Delaware/Maryland synod and most recently as Director of Admissions and Coordinator of Spiritual Formation at Gettysburg Seminary. She has a deep passion for the church’s ministry of forgiveness and reconciliation and helping create space for all to feel welcome within the church. AdministrationParish Office: Sangeetha Struck joined New Hope in August 2021 to serve as a part-time parish administrator. Sangeetha has a high school diploma from Villa Maria Academy in Malvern, PA and a B.A. degree in Economics from Bryn Mawr College, PA (1986). Her minor subject was Political Science with a focus on Ethnic Political Conflict. Sangeetha has over12 years of experience in office administration and corporate communications.

Director of Music: Dr. David A. FanningDr. David Fanning holds a Ph.D. in Music; he is proficient in playing the piano. He can play percussion instruments. David is an experienced choir director.

Youth Group: Noah O'RyanNoah O'Ryan has worked in the office and served as a Youth Director for over seven years. Noah holds a B.A. degree in Film and he coordinates youth participation in MD-DE Synod events. He plans weekly activities for our high school aged youth and coordinates participation in ELCA national events.
Sexton: Frances CliftonFrances Clifton has been the Sexton at New Hope for 20 years. She looks forward to continuing to serve the congregation in any way she can and has enjoyed all the pastors with whom she has worked.
