Give By Text

The “Give by Text” is an e-giving method that may be accessed by entering text number 844-287-7109 to any phone with “text” capability.  To set up a “give by text” account complete the following:

1. Select and tap the text message icon from the main screen of your phone;
2. Select and tap the “compose” icon or depending upon your phone’s operating system, another icon which allows you to compose or create a text message;
3. In the “To” box, enter 844-287-7109
4. In the message box, type in the amount with a $ sign that you would like to contribute (e.g. $20), and press “send.” 
5. Within a few minutes after you send the text message, you’ll receive a text with a link to register.  Simply click on the link and follow the prompts to enter your cardholder name and credit or debit card information.  Once your registration is complete, you will receive a text verification and an email receipt. 
6. If a fund is not specified, your contribution will be automatically made to the “General” fund.  If you wish to designate your gift to a different fund, complete the following:
   1. In the “Text Message” box, type the word “Funds;”
   2. A return text will list the available designated funds;
   3. Once you have selected a fund, enter a $ sign, the amount, a space, and the name of the fund (e.g. $35 Outreach) and press “send.”  You will receive a return text that confirms your donation along with an email which contains details of the donation including the name of the fund selected.​

Note:

After you set up your initial Mobile app or Give by Text account, you will not be prompted again to provide your information.
