Congregational Care
Do you need help or support dealing with what's going on in your life? Would you like to be able to offer meaningful assistance to others? That's what New Hope's Congregational Care ministries are all about. Our faith is expressed in a variety of ministries which support members and friends of New Hope in maintaining wellness and enriching lives.
Stephen MinistryStephen Ministry is a program which links people dealing with difficult situations and members of our congregation who have been trained to provide confidential one-to-one assistance (listening and supporting them as they work through these tough situations). We work with care receivers in a wide range of situations, including job and career related concerns, challenges due to aging, recovery from surgery, grief, support for people who provide care to members of their family, relationship issues, parenting concerns, and others. Caring ConnectionsCaring Connection is a group of people who stay connected with our homebound by visiting, making phone calls, and sending cards on a regular basis.

Health MinistryNew Hope has and maintains an AED. American Heart Association CPR/AED classes are offered periodically.
Prayer Shawl and Pocket Prayer Squares and Crosses MinistryPrayer shawls are knitted by members and friends and blessed during worship to be given to those who need to be wrapped in God's love and healing as they go through difficult times.
We now have pocket prayer squares that you can give to someone to keep with them all the time. They are pocket size and can slide in a pocket or purse to carry God's love and warmth with you all day. They are located in a basket on the ushers table in the narthex. Friends Helping FriendsMembers provide meals, transportation and other assistance to New Hope members when needed.
Card MinistryBeautiful cards are made to send to New Hope members and friends in joyous as well as difficult times, or just to say, "we're thinking of you."
