About Us
New Hope Lutheran Church was founded in 1984. We are a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), the largest Lutheran denomination in the United States. We are also part of the local Delaware - Maryland Synod, a group of ELCA congregations that work together to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with their communities and the world.
Our Staff
Pastor: Ginny PricePastor Ginny Price began her ministry at New Hope on Dec. 1, 2013. A graduate of Gettysburg Lutheran Seminary and ordained in 1989 Pastor Ginny has served in a variety of settings, including both rural and small town, as well as serving as Assistant to the Bishop for the Delaware/Maryland synod and most recently as Director of Admissions and Coordinator of Spiritual Formation at Gettysburg Seminary. She has a deep passion for the church’s ministry of forgiveness and reconciliation and helping create space for all to feel welcome within the church. Parish Administrator & Youth Director: Noah O'RyanNoah has been working at New Hope for two years. As Youth Director he coordinates trips and weekly activities for high school aged youth. If you have any general questions regarding the church, please email him at [email protected].

Deacon: Cindy RankerCindy Ranker has served at New Hope for over five years. She has an M.A.M.S. degree from Gettysburg Seminary and was consecrated as a Diaconal Minister in February of 2008. Cindy's email address is Cindy@NewHopeLutheran.org
