New Hope Lutheran Church was founded in 1984. We are a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), the largest Lutheran denomination in the United States. We are also part of the local Delaware - Maryland Synod, a group of ELCA congregations that work together to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with their communities and the world.
Pastor: Ginny Price
Pastor Ginny Price began her ministry at New Hope on Dec. 1, 2013. A graduate of Gettysburg Lutheran Seminary and ordained in 1989 Pastor Ginny has served in a variety of settings, including both rural and small town, as well as serving as Assistant to the Bishop for the Delaware/Maryland synod and most recently as Director of Admissions and Coordinator of Spiritual Formation at Gettysburg Seminary. She has a deep passion for the church’s ministry of forgiveness and reconciliation and helping create space for all to feel welcome within the church. Deacon: Cindy Ranker
Cindy Ranker has been at New Hope for over five years. She has an M.A.M.S. degree from Gettysburg Seminary and was consecrated as a Diaconal Minister in February of 2008. Cindy's email address is Cindy@NewHopeLutheran.org
