Journey of the Ages - July 14th, 4-6 pm. Other than your mother telling you that you had to, why do you go to church? For a cookout for one thing! On July 14, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., there will be a cookout at church. It will be an opportunity for Millennials, Baby Boomers, and those in between (everyone) to meet, eat, and listen to each other’s church experiences. What was church like in the “old days”? What gets in the way of church attendance for you? How do you find your place in the social, service, or other aspects of the church? What makes a church welcoming The church will supply the grill, meat, (and other things to grill), buns, and homemade ice cream. The rest will be potluck. There will be a sign-up sheet if you want to express your interest in attending. We may invite others to make sure we have a good balance of different age groups.
